TAE is a professional training that prepares TESOL graduates to Teach Academic English to university students and college graduates. In addition to teaching Academic English to college students, TAE prepares graduate to teach college entry exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, GRE and GMAT (English Section.)
The TOEFL Test refers to the Test of English as a Foreign Language. The TOEFL program is designed to measure the ability of non-native speakers to read, write and understand English as used at college and university campuses in North America. The TOEFL test is used to evaluate the English ability of candidates for admission to academic or professional programs globally.
The TOEIC® Test provides outstanding benefits to individuals, schools, and companies. It offers an objective assessment of English language communication proficiency, a quantifiable standard of performance recognized around the world.
The IELTS Test is the International English Language Testing System, a test that measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work in environments where English is used as a language of communication. IELTS is widely used and accepted by Immigration Canada.
TAE Specialization Certification
- 300-Hours (3 months) TESOL Foundation Standard with Specialization in Teaching Academic English
- 150-hours General Standard TESOL Certificate plus 150-hours TAE
TAE Postgraduate Diploma
- 650-hours course to be completed within eight months at one of TESOL Canada institutions
- Includes 450-hours of TESOL Diploma along with 200-hours of additional TAE standards.
